When it comes to grooming our intimate areas, there are various options to consider. Some prefer to leave their bikini line untouched, while others opt for a more defined triangle or landing strip. Many women choose to remove hair from their pubic region, whether it’s for personal preference or to feel more confident with their body when bikini-clad.
The Hollywood
The Hollywood method involves removing the hair from all over the intimate area, including the perineum and anus, as well as from the mons pubis and labia. Everything from the front and back area in other words. The all-off approach promises the ultimate feeling of smoothness down below.
The Brazilian
The Brazilian is the same as the Hollywood, except for one small detail; A small strip (or sometimes a triangle – you decide which) of hair is left at the top, on the mons pubis. That is the only difference between the two.
Your Choice of Pubic Hair Removal
When it comes to hair removal, obviously, it’s about what method works best for you. We advocate the laser method, partly because we have a machine but also because we feel it’s the best way to remove hair, full stop. Whether you prefer a completely bare look or just want to tidy up your wayward knicker line, there are options available to suit your preferences. Ultimately, the decision to remove or keep hair in the bikini area is your own personal one, and what matters most is that you feel confident and comfortable in your own skin.
Why Laser is Best
While shaving pubic hair is a common method, it can lead to irritation and ingrown hairs, especially in sensitive areas like the pubic region or buttocks. This can be irritating at best and painful at worst. This is all before we consider the possibility of infection. Waxing has similar pitfalls, with a couple more added in for good measure. Small breaks are possible in the skin with a Hollywood wax, for one, folliculitis, for two. One other thing to mention (not everyone may have experienced it) is what happens when the hair regrowth starts. Irritation is what, especially if the hairs are growing out of the skin and hitting skin on the other side of the crevice. Laser equates to fewer clinic or salon appointments and more time to enjoy the results.
