Before the Morpheus8 treatment

In order to get the best from your Morpheus8 treatment, please follow the guidelines below.

• Please avoid sun exposure, tanning creams and sunbeds at least 24-48 hours before the appointment.
• Cease the use of products containing retinol at least 48 hours before the first treatment.
• Please finish any prescribed antibiotic creams 48 hours before the Morpheus8 session.
• Avoid using products that have the potential to cause bruising at least 3-4 days before the Morpheus8 session, longer if possible. Products such as aspirin, ibuprofen, vitamin E, and fish oil fall into this category.
• We also recommend avoiding sun exposure or tanning (including tanning beds and self-tanning products) for a minimum of 24 hours before the treatment.

After the Morpheus8 treatment

• Apply cool compress and/or covered ice packs on the first day to help reduce any swelling.
• Avoid direct sun exposure for as long as possible after the treatment.
• If you have to go out in the sun, please protect your skin and wear a high-SPF cream.
• Do not touch the area for at least 48 hours; practice stringent hygiene methods to avoid infection.
• Make-up can be applied 1-2 days after the treatment.
• Ice packs or cool compresses can be used on the first day to help to reduce the skin from initially feeling hot and to calm any redness and swelling.
• Please follow any patient advice information given to you by your practitioner.
• If you have any specific physical activities coming up post treatment, please ask us about them.

What to expect from Morpheus8

You can expect a reduction in skin laxity in the treated area (face or neck), as the Morpheus8 treatment stimulates collagen production in the coming weeks following the procedure. 3 months is usually the time when most patients start to see improved skin texture and a reduction in loose skin.
