Sculptra®- The longer-lasting, more progressive dermal filler Sculptra® works by regenerating your own facial collagen, which replaces lost facial volume over time.
The protein collagen, which your body manufactures to give your skin a firm and youthful appearance, slows down around age 25 and causes facial volume loss.
By encouraging collagen synthesis once more, Sculptra® helps restore the balance. This procedure can be used to cure loss of facial volume brought on by the ageing process or drastic weight loss, as well as to gradually and safely remove lines, wrinkles, and folds.
The core component of Sculptra®, poly-l-lactic acid, has been used medically for over 25 years to cure and correct facial scars and contour flaws.

A review at our clinic has shown that the improvements obtained with Sculptra have lasted for up to 2-5 years. Treatment usually consists of 2 to 4 sessions lasting up to half an hour; usually 2-3 weeks apart with no ‘downtime’.
Results from Sculptra are typically visible about three months after the initial treatment. Optimum results usually occur between 4 and 6 months following the first treatment due to the production of collagen synthesis.
